Ancient Greek workshop with Shrewsbury Museum

Date: 22nd Jun 2018 @ 11:25am

On Thursday we had a fabulous morning as Liz, from Shrewsbury Museum service, visited us bringing along some Ancient Greek artefacts (that were used by Ancient Greeks over 2000 years ago!!) and replicasof every day items. We learnt about how Greeks lived, especially in Sparta and Athens, and how different people in society - men, women, children and slaves - had different things they were allowed or expected to do. Finally, we dressed up to re-enact a symposium.

What was the most interesting thing you found out from Liz? What was your favourite part of the morning?
