A Titanic Morning!

Date: 15th Oct 2019 @ 1:59pm

This term we are learning all about journeys and especially boat journeys. Today we all found out about The Titanic, a really sad boat journey that happened in 1912.

Merryn thought everybody listened really well and answered lots of questions.

We learned that the front of the ship started to sink after hitting an iceberg ( said Barnaby and Freya.) Amber reminded us that not many people survived. Oscar R told us that the crew stayed on the sinking ship so that more passengers could get in the lifeboats.Abi told us that some people were rescued by other boats that came to help. The Titanic was the biggest boat that had ever been built and everybody thought it could not sink!

I hope the children tell you all about it!

Along with our three core values, Respect, Responsibility & Resilience, we will be exploring the importance of 'Courage' during Worship time.
