Dormouse class Week beginning 18th November

This week, we have worked hard to design our own house, thinking about the different rooms. Next week, we are thinking about our kitchen and what we need in that room. We will also be explorig food and thinking about different food groups and what is a healthy diet. 

Nursery are learning about alliteration in phonics and will be matching food, animals and people together that begin with the same sound.

Reception are moving on to h b f ff as their new sounds and will be learning their new tricky word - the. 

In maths, Nursery are comparing sizes of objects and Reception will be returning to a focus on counting and what the whole of the group of objects looks like. 

We are beginning to prepare for our Christmas Nativity and a letter will be coming out soon to confirm which character in our performance your child will be taking on.
