Assessments

Children at the end of Reception are assessed at the start of the year using Reception Baseline assessment tool and at the end of the year against the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile.

Children in Year 1 complete a Phonics Screening Check (please see the attached file of information for parents).

In Year 4 the children complete a Multiplication Tables Assessment (please see the attached file of information for parents).

Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) are annual assessment tasks completed at the end of Key Stages One (Year 1) and Two (Year 6).  They restarted following the pandemic in 2022.  Results for 2022 are not published however.  The last published results that are required are from 2019 which is before this school became an academy.

All other assesments are completed during the summer term.
