Health and Wellbeing
Asthma
We are an accredited asthma friendly school. This means that we receive regular training updates from an asthma nurse. We are more than happy to assist any children who require asthma medication - please complete the care plan in the documents below. This needs to be done annually.
Medication
Medication can be given to the children whilst in school. Please complete the 'parental agreement form' and hand in the form and medication to the office. Please inform the office if the medicine needs to be kept in a fridge. Medicines in school are kept in a locked medicine cabinet when not stored in a secure fridge. Cough and throat sweets must also be handed in to the office.
Toileting
From time to time some children have problems with managing their toileting. We are more than happy to assist (following our Intimate Care Policy) if appropriate. Further information about bowel and bladder issues may be found on the ERIC website at Home - ERIC
