Dietary Requirements

All meals are cooked with fresh ingredients.  If your child has any allergies or particular dietary requirements, please inform the school office.

Dinner Menus

Our meals our brought in from the kitchen at Whixall CE Primary School.  Menu items may change from time to time with little notice but these ocassions are beyond the school's control.  There are occasionally special menu days which are notified prior to the day.

Free School Meals (FSM)

If you are in receipt of certain benefits, you may be able to claim for Free School meals.  Follow this link to find out if you qualify and apply for FSM:

Universal Infant Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive a free school meal.

Trips and Visits

When trips are organised we try to offer the chance to buy those prepared by the kitchen.  The law states that these must be preordered.  We usually have to give the kitchen at least a week’s notice for sandwiches so that supplies can be ordered.  We are not able to order sandwiches on the day of a trip.  If a child comes to school without sandwiches, they may have to order a hot dinner and stay in school, thereby possibly missing the trip.
