What a busy week we have had in Red Squirrel class! It has been time to shine week and the children have worked their socks off. We have completed some maths, reading, spelling and phonics time to shines, showing off all of the wonderful learning that has been happening in our class this term. The children showed real perserverance and we have been talking about the importance in being "resilient" learners.

On Tuesday we had a superb Mother's day sale. Thank you to all parents for their contributions and also to Mrs Ralphs and Miss Doyle for organising. The children are very excited to give their beautiful gifts to their Mummy's! We were also busy on Tuesday making our Mother's day cards and we hope that you enjoy them as much as we liked making them.

On Wednesday, we turned our design of a toy chair for a king into life using a range of junk modelling materials. The chairs looked fantastic and it was lovely to see how each one was different!

On Friday, we took a trip to Thomas Adams for our annual Mini Olympics event. It was a success as always, the children had a fantastic time and the sports leaders were fantastic and a credit to the school.
