Hello Dormice

This week, we have been exploring Africa and in particular thinking about the animals that live on this vast continent. We also began to learn about migration and talked about a cuckoo that we will be following on its migration. Thank you Mrs Rockey who has sponsored this for us.

Next week, we will be exploring North America and learning about the animals that live in this habitat.

In maths, Reception are exploring the concept of one more and one less and revising counting. Nursery are exploring the story of 3 Billy Goats Gruff and practising our subitising.

In phonics, Reception are learning the sounds ai ee igh and using these in reading to blend for new words. Nursery are revising their oral blending and segmenting through the story of the 3 Billy Goats Gruff.

Next week is Safer Internet Day. We will be learning how to keep safe online and what to do if we see things that make us feel unsafe or upset.
