Week beginning 11th November

Hello everyone

As we move into another week, we begin to look more closely at our topic of houses and homes and begin to design our own homes. We will be looking at plans for houses and thinking about the materials that we would use in our houses. 

In phonics, next week, Nursery are focusing on all of the rhymes that we have learned so far this term. Reception are moving on to learning ck e u r. We also will be looking at the tricky word I.

In maths, reception continue to think about the composition of numbers and finding ways to make 3 4 5. Nursery are learning to say numbers in the correct order. 

We are beginning to look towards Christmas and our celebrations in school. We will also be talking to the children about our Nativity performance and which part they would like to take. More details to follow.
