Week Beginning 13th January

On Monday, we begin our travels around the world, starting in the Arctic and Antarctic. We will be learning about different animals that live there and what the weather and temperature are like there. We have made our own passports and so will be making our own pictures to stamp our passports to show our destinations. 

In phonics, Nursery are learning about the story of the Gingerbread Man and learning about alliteration. Reception are learning three new sounds x y z and using our tricky words in our writing.

In maths, Nursery are pattern making, thinking about repeated patterns and making our own. Reception are learning about the numerals 1 -5. This week, we have been playing dice games. This would be a great thing to continue at home if you have the opportunity.
