Week Beginning 24th February

Hello everyone. We have had such a busy half term. Each week we have visted a new continent and explored different habiats and met new animals.

Next half term we are beginning in the rainforest and thinking about animals that live there and fruits that would grow in South America. We are going to taste pineapple and use our cutting skills to chop it up. 

In phonics, Nursery continue work on rhyming and reception are learning about the sounds oa and oo in words.

In maths, Nursery are making up new games using dice and tracks and Reception will be looking in depth at numbers 6-10, finding out how these can be composed of 5 and 2, 5 and 3 etc.

In the meantime, we hope that you have a lovely half term week and we look forward to seeing you on Monday 24th February.
