Week beginning 3rd February

Next week, we are visiting the continent of Africa. We will be learning about the animals that live there and learning about the patterns found on the animal. 

In phonics, Nursery will be learning about the story of the 3 little pigs. We will be learning about alliteration and using them in sentences. Reception will be learning their new sounds dge, ve, and wh and using them in their writing.

In maths, we are comparing amounts, naming more and fewer and thinking about one more than and one fewer than. Nursery are learning about different shapes and using them to make pictures. 

We are excited about our topic this term and continuing our journey around the world.
