Absorbency

We investigated different fabrics to see which one was the most absorbent to mop up a water spill in our class!

We had to carry out a fair test so used syringes to put the same amount of liquid on each fabric. Some water ran off the fabric, some sat on top of the fabric and some soaked in. We discussed what this meant and which material would make the best mopping up cloth.
