Clive's Local History

We have spent this term learning all about Clive's history.  We have been lucky to walk around the village looking for evidence of Clive's history in the buildings and street names and also walking on Clive Hill and Grinshill to see why this location would have been ideal for settlers 2000BC, we also saw evidence on this trip of the local quarrying of the famous Grinshill and Clive Hill sandstone. We also visited the church where Vicar Paul told us all about its history and first origins.
